Loisaba Tented Camp is a 15 minute drive from the Loisaba airstrip which can be reached by a 1 hour flight from Wilson Airport in Nairobi, Kenya.
The Laikipia district covers a vast plateau in the Central Highlands between the slopes of Mount Kenya in the south and the Great Rift Valley in the west.
Loisaba Tented Camp is situated in a private wildlife conservancy of 61 000 acres which includes a migratory zone for Elephants. This is also a wonderful site for viewing Wild Dog and Leopard. The predominant tribe in this region is the Samburu. Revenue from Loisaba Tented Camp is directly channelled into community and conservation programmes in this area.
