Lake Victoria, named after Queen Victoria, is one of the African Great Lakes. Lake Victoria is the largest lake in Africa and is the worlds second-largest fresh water lake. Lake Victoria is shared by 3 countries: Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
Many mammals live in the Lake Victoria region including hippo, otters, sitatunga, marsh mongoose and more. Crocodiles, turtles and cichlid fish can be found in the lake and seen while exploring the lake. Activities include watersports, fishing and boat cruises.
