Safari Activities at Governors Private Camp

Your Kenya wildlife safari at Governors Camp explores the landscape on bush walks, game drives and balloon rides. Cultural visits can also be arranged.

From this Masai Mara camp you can watch Hippo, Crocodile and Elephant at the river then spot the Big Cats, Hyena and abundant plains game on game drives and walks.

A highlight is that Governors Camp is unfenced, so elephants and other wildlife are frequent visitors at camp.

Wildlife in the Masai Mara is plentiful but the migration season is when huge numbers converge on the plains and predators come out in force. From Governors Private Camp you can witness this amazing event between July and October, when countless Wildebeest and Zebra cross the plains and the Mara River.

Local Maasai Guides

Handpicked driver guides lead the morning and evening game drives in custom open 4x4 safari vehicles. All the guides are highly experienced and know this region extremely well. Walking safaris are conducted by a qualified naturalist and accompanied by a Maasai scout. You’ll track game and learn about nature, plant life and local folklore while walking in a private concession.
