See the Great Migration at Entim Mara

While staying at Entim Mara on a Masai Mara safari in Kenya, guests can immerse themselves in the dramas of the Great Plains during exciting game drives led by local Maasai guides and trackers.

The highlight of a stay at Entim Mara is having the honour of witnessing the Great Migration (July - October). Entim Mara guests are the first on the scene during river crossings, due to it's superb location along the Mara River.

Set out to discover the plentiful wildlife of the Masai Mara while on game drives which are led by experienced local Masai guides. The region is home to Africa’s Big Five, the animals that were considered to be the most dangerous to hunt in the days of the big hunting safaris, namely Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo. Leopards are not that common in Kenya and Entim Mara is situated in a region with a resident population of these elusive cats.

The guides will help you arrange your schedule each morning based around their knowledge of where the best game viewing opportunities are. The guides are more than happy to share their local culture with you and can even arrange for you to visit their local village for an insight into the Maasai way of life which is little changed after thousands of years.
