Kipungani Explorer offers East Coast accommodation in 13 spacious bandas (chalets) situated on Kipungani Bay overlooking 600 meters of sandy white beach. They are constructed from local materials with mkeka palm floors and makuti thatch roofs which are hand crafted by the local villagers. They have a rustic charm in their simplicity and have comfortable king-sized beds and furniture made from local mangrove wood.
The bandas have expansive verandas that have funzi sofas and chairs piled high with plush cushions which is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a book while being cooled by a sea breeze. The bandas have en-suite bathrooms equipped with showers and separate dressing areas with wash basins.
